As it was streaming simultaneously with #KingTheLand and #SeeYouInMy19thLife, I had to park #Heartbeat for a while to “prolong” it and savor the experience as a #Taecyeon fan.
Then when I finally gave in, I kept on hitting the Pause button again and again as I couldn’t stand the female lead character Joo In-Hae (played by #WonJiAn, #DP #IfYouWishUponMe). I found her too annoying, in contrast to #Taecyeon’s Seon Woo-Hyeol, who is too kind and gentle. Hindi ko matagalan.
Halfway through the season, or maybe a bit more, I started to forgive her. At least, may character dev. Strangely though, you don’t really see them as a couple in love. Parang magKuya lang hehehe probably because we were spoiled by KTL’s chemistry between the two leads? Sayang naman as Taecyeon really did his best in this drama. Proud na proud sya, lagi syang nagIG live to share moments sa shoot nila. Yung poging kahit magmukhang tanga, poging matanda ang fashion, ok lang sa kanyang maging goofy. I believe he did better here than #Blind. Vampire na gustong maging tao, na gustong ma-experience ang love and beating heart (thus the title), vampire na mas humane pa than a real human.

Brotherhood and loyalty – katuwa itong mga sidekicks nya eh Lee Sang-Hae (#YoonByungHee whom you probably remember seeing in #OurBlues #ShootingStars #Soundtrack1 #AllOfUsAreDead #Vincenzo among others) Park Dong-Seob (#KoKyuPil #TheKingsAffection #BackstreetRookie #CrashLandingOnYou) and Rose (#SeungYou #THeGoldenSpoon)
3. Daming Marites at Tolits sa K-drama no? Madalas kakainis pero minsan helpful din.
Naiyak din naman ako sa huli. And it leaves you hope somehow. Hindi siya super-super na maganda or magaling but if you’re someone who wants to watch romcom – sweet, simple, fun. Ok na rin (no pun intended) because of Taecyeon.
