Caehl: Daddy, when are we going to Mauban?
Alex: Maybe in February. Because we're going to Harbour Square tomorrow.
C: No, February is my field trip.
A: When is your field trip?
C: Feb. 12 or 19, Daddy.
A: What day is Feb. 12 or 19?
C: Look at the calendar, Daddy.
Ayan kasi.
Caehl: Papa's in heaven na. He waves to me and says, "Apo, apo."

Caehl: Why are you locking the door?
Me: Because strangers might come in.
Caehl: Yeah, we can't all fit in the bed.

Before going to Asian Hospital for Ate Cae's check-up:
Caehl (crying): I want to go to the hospital.
Me: No, only Daddy and Ate. You and Mommy will stay home. Kids are not allowed in the hospital.
Caehl: But when Papa was sick, I was allowed in the hospital.
Me (speechless, oo nga pala): _______

Caehl: Mommy, where's your heart?
Me: It's with you and Ate Cae.
Caehl: How about Daddy?
Me: Does Mommy love Daddy?
Caehl: Noooooo. Adults na kasi.

Mama: Caehl, how are you and Denise (his classmate)?
